    Abstract：

    随着社会经济的快速发展和世界一体化进程的推进,我国对于英语教育高度重视,对于英语课堂教学质量的提高提出了更高的、更严格的要求.新教育改革的背景下,要求教师们以培养学生的核心素养为基础,提高学生的英语成绩,进而提高整个初中英语课堂的教学水平和质量.初中英语课堂是学生们学习英语的初级阶段和重要开始.初中英语老师应重点培养学生们的核心素养,为学生以后的英语检测考试和运用英语打下坚实而牢固的基础.
