    清初的"放足"政策与中国传统缠足习俗之间的矛盾,造成了"大小脚"并存的现象,在文学上的体现,就是清代小说中的大量缠足描写.《红楼梦》亦不例外,作者写"脚",是与当时的政治制度和社会风俗有必然联系的.
