    植物甾醇是一种具有类固醇激素结构的天然活性添加剂,具有降低胆固醇、抗癌、抗氧化、抗病毒、抗肿瘤、调节生长等多种功能,这就使植物甾醇具有最要的研究与开发价值.本文将介绍植物甾醇的来源、理化性质、降低胆固醇的机制以及对动物生产性能的影响.通过对植物甾醇的降低胆固醇机理和提高动物生产性能的内在联系的研究,可能为动物健康优质产品的生产提供重要理论探索依据.
