    美术作为一种可以净化灵魂、提高气质、培养人审美能力的艺术活动。美术功能的提高应从小就开始培养。而小学时期是打基础、筑根基的重要阶段。要全面提高小学生的美术水平、美术鉴赏能力，需要学校通过配置优秀美术教师以及专业化的教学场地，而美术功能室就是有效培养小学生美术能力的场所，美术专功室根据美术课程内容、教学目的、培养计划设置不同功能模块。通过发挥美术功能室的设备、模块的作用，为提高学生美术水平奠定良好基础。
