Abstract：
素质教育的主要目标是培养学生的创新意识和创新能力。数学教学要体现素质教育的精神必须以人为本，充分发展学生的潜能。但初中学生的知识水平和思维能力都不尽相同，所以对学生进行分层教学，能更好地进行因材施教和发展学生的思维能力，较快地提高教学效果。
