    Abstract：

    分层教学是根据学生知识水平、英语潜力等进行科学分组、区别对待的一种教学模式[1]。将分层教学法应用于初中英语教学中，教师根据学生实际情况展开教学目标、课堂教学、课后习题的分层等，能激发学生的学习自信心，提高英语教学质量，发展学生英语潜能。本文即对分层教学目标、分层课堂教学、分层习题布置三方面做出综合论述，以供参考。
