    Abstract：

    社会的发展对学生提出了更高要求，培养学生的核心素养已成为社会普遍关注的问题。初中历史与社会包含地理、历史等诸多内容，是培养学生核心素养的重要工具。因此教师在教学过程中应充分利用教材内容，以德树人，让学生适应社会发展的需要，提升自身多方面能力，培养自身综合素质，从而提升我国文化软实力和教育的国际竞争力。针对初中历史与社会教学中如何提高学生核心素养进行探讨，为教育工作者提供教学借鉴。
