    Abstract：

    时代在不断地进步，素质教育已经深入美术领域中，艺术在教育的比重中越来越大，美术是艺术领域之一，不但可以陶冶学生情操，更能为校园增添艺术气息。学校中开设美术课程能够为教学提高新的层次更能为教学提供新的氛围，并且为学生展示才艺表演的平台，锻炼学生的美术能力，老师在授课的过程中要利用自己的美术才华和美术素养，身体力行的为学生做好榜样，指导学生在学习的过程中有正确的价值观和审美观。文章就初中美术教育和教学方式的开展策略进行初步探讨，以供参考。
