Abstract：
在新课程改革背景下,以往的教育模式已经不能满足当前社会发展的需求,因此必须对学校教育进行改革.在初中阶段,语文教学是必不可少的一部分,阅读教学是重中之重,在语文阅读教学中加入课外阅读能够提高学生的知识面.本文阐述了课外阅读对于初中语文阅读教学的重要意义,并提出了一些在初中语文阅读教学中开展课外阅读的措施.
