网络环境下的图书馆,起初是图书馆的各个工作和服务环节计算机化和网络化,发展的最终阶段是网络图书馆.具体地说,网络图书馆是由电子图书馆或数字图书馆组成,它是图书馆信息化建设的发展方向,同时也是广泛开展电子信息服务和实现信息资源共享的计算机网络信息服务系统.
