Abstract：

教科书文本是实现课程目标的内容载体,是教师教与学生学的主要工具.初中英语教科书中插图数量大、类型多,形象鲜明、充满意境的插图对课文内容发挥着重要的解释补充或拓展延伸作用.本文以初中英语PEP版教材为研究对象,分析了教科书插图的功能和选用要求,并结合教学实践,探讨教师如何活化课文插图,提高教学效果.
