    初中阶段的一门极为重要的学科便是英语，教师要转变传统的教学方式，并在课堂当中实现与学生的交流互动，确保学生的智力以及学习潜能得到充分发挥，在此基础之上使得学生的自学能力逐步得到提高。本文从“培养初中生自学能力的意义；初中生自学能力现状分析；培养初中生自学能力的有效途径”三个方面入手进行研究。
