    随着我国经济发展与社会进步,英语教育的重要性被广泛认可,因此提升初中学生的英语能力迫在眉睫,尤其是对于初中学生的英语阅读来说,新课程标准要求初中英语教学增加对于学生英语阅读的能力培养,并积极促进学生的独立英语阅读与兴趣阅读.
