    自主学习是指学生个体在学习过程中一种主动而积极自觉的学习行为，它主要表现为学生在教育活动过程中有强烈的求知欲、主动参与的精神以及积极思考的行为。而在新课程标准的要求下，如何培养学生的自主学习能力已经成为高中英语教学研究的重点。
