Abstract：
中国工艺美术历史悠久，成就斐然，但现代水平较低。虽然在生产形式上，工艺美术对于手工生产是有用的，但这不是唯一的意义。本文从对中国历史上手工艺的认识入手，阐释手工艺所体现的物质与精神的关系，并指出继续大力发展手工艺的重要性。
