    Abstract：

    初中英语教学对学生文化意识的培养至关重要，教师需要从课程内容出发，引导学生建立跨文化交流意识，进而借助跨文化学习思维提升英语应用能力。如今文化意识的培养已经渗透到初中英语教学的各个层面，本文通过对初中英语教学需求进行分析，探索通过英语阅读教学培养初中生文化意识的模式，从而发挥学生的主体作用，培养学生的英语语用能力和学科素养，贯彻培养学生文化意识的要求。
