    Abstract：

    商务英语信函必须使用准确的语言，避免在内容上出现模糊不清的问题。然而，在商务场合中，模糊语言的运用已经越来越普遍，不仅在日常的商务英语交往中起到举足轻重的作用，而且也在一定程度上影响着个人的交际能力。本文在顺应论的视角下，运用顺应理论对商业英语信函中的模糊语言进行了简要的分析，从心理、物理、社交三个层面对商务英语中的模糊语言进行了较为详细的探讨，旨在进一步解释模糊语在商务英语中的应用，从而保证充分发挥出模糊语言在商务语言中的重要作用。
