Abstract：
随着新课程改革理念的不断深入，在当前的教育行业之中如何对学生进行核心素养的培养已成为研究的重点。对于初中阶段的学生来说英语这一学科的学习属于必修的课程，这就需要教师在实际教学时能够立足于核心素养所具备的内涵，为学生设计丰富的课堂教学活动，适当地将课堂教学的内容与文化资源进行有效地结合，从而进一步调动学生学习的热情，培养学生形成良好的英语学习能力及核心素养。本文从初中英语核心素养的内涵以及培养的具体策略这两个方面入手进行研究。
