Abstract：
中职英语教学是提高中职学生英语语言能力的学科，在培养职业型人才方面有不可忽视的作用，其中阅读教学又是中职英语教学的重点，关乎学生阅读能力的发展，影响着学生对英语语言的应用。在如今强调培养学生英语核心素养的背景下，中职英语教师更要抓好阅读课堂，对英语阅读教学方法进行系统性变革，了解学生英语阅读的薄弱环节，逐步帮助学生清除影响其英语核心素养发展的顽石与阻碍，让学生在英语阅读中满怀热情，持续提升英语核心素养。
