Abstract：
英语写作教学不仅是教学中的一个重要环节，而且还是一个相对比较薄弱的环节。英语写作是考察学生综合运用语言能力、表达能力和思维组织能力的一种手段，英语写作在教学大纲以及考试的主观题部分都占有重要的地位。目前在初中英语写作教学中仍存在不足和亟待改进的地方，教师应针对现阶段的教学理念和方法进行转变和提升，在课上科学指导学生掌握英语写作方法和技巧，课下鼓励学生拓展阅读积累写作素材与经验，多方面提高学生英语写作能力。
