    大单元教学指的是站在整个单元的立场上进行教学，强调单元的整体性和连贯性，以全面提升教学质量和效果，以大单元教学视域下教材解读与使用初探为出发点和落脚点，以统编普通高中思想政治教材《经济与社会》第一单元为例。从明确教材编写与使用的背景、解读单元教材的内容框架与地位、研究单元教材使用与实施建议三个方面对《经济与社会》教材第一单元进行解读和研究，以期达到铸魂育人的目标。
