Abstract：
阅读是英语教学中的重要板块，但受到应试教育思想影响，很多高中英语教师在阅读教学中只关注学生阅读能力与答题能力的提升，违背了当下英语核心素养培养的目标，使学生的综合素质与能力发展受阻，培养出了大批“答题机器”。在新时期下，教师应及时调整优化阅读教学的理念与方式，明确英语核心素养培养的目标，有效提升阅读教学质量。
