Abstract：
新课程标准强调发展学生核心素养，实现立德树人的目标。开展生命教育是实现立德树人目标的重要途径，是促进学生身心健康发展的重要条件。英语教材中蕴涵着丰富的生命教育资源，在初中阶段积极开展生命教育渗透，充分发掘和合理利用英语教材中有关生命教育的因素，引导学生正确认识生命的意义和价值，树立正确的生命价值观念，有助于使其尊重生命、充实生命，提高其生命的质量，促进学生在初中阶段的成长和发展。
