    近年来随着新教改的试行涉及教学领域的各个方面，其中在高等教育中也提出了新的要求，其中在大学英语教学中教学目标更加倾向于培养学生英语文化素养、英语阅读以及英语口语表达能力等方面。这就需要在教学时将英语文学与大学英语教学进行整合，从英语文学教学角度出发对大学英语教学方法进行改进，为大学英语教学提供有效帮助，以此提高学生的文化素养。
