Abstract：
相对传统接受学习而言自主学习作为一种现代化学习方式，将学生当作学习的主体，让他们自己通过听讲、阅读、观察、思考、研究与实践等方式获取知识并提升能力。在初中英语教学中，教师需要尽可能地为学生提供自主学习的机会，着重培养他们的自主学习能力，使其掌握一些行之有效的学习方法与技巧。
