Abstract：
数学是一门历史悠久的学科。数学的各种理论都是在继承过去的基础上提出的。学习数学的过程不仅是教给学生知识的过程，也是让学生在数学教学过程中实现数学所蕴含的文化功能的过程。作为一名高中数学教师，你应该能够通过数学教研活动或课后查阅相关资料，对数学史有一定的了解。只有当教师对数学史有了深刻的理解，才能熟练地运用数学史的文化功能来陶冶学生的教学，使学生在数学学习过程中感受到数学的文化内涵，为学生数学能力的提高打下基础。
