    20世纪河南移民或因寻找工作机会，或因逃难求生，大批迁居铜川。铜川从而成为河南人聚居的一个陕西城市。迁入铜川的河南移民从事各种各样的工作，有着不同的职业身份。他们对铜川社会的经济和文化风俗变迁产生巨大的影响，在新铜川的形成过程中，与陕西本地人一道做出重大贡献。
