    贯彻落实全国高校思想政治工作会议精神，围绕高校立德树人的根本任务，在发挥思政课程的主渠道基础上，充分挖掘大学英语课程所蕴含的思政教育元素和承载的思政教育功能，推进大学英语课程思政教育教学改革，是各高校大学英语教师的责任担当。本文作者通过大学英语教学中一篇课文内容的教学，展示如何在大学英语课程中巧妙地融入思政内容，显示大学英语课程的育人功能，与国人共勉。
