    实行素质教育，其目的是培养学生的自主学习能力和创新能力。因此，在教学中，教师要教给学生正确的学习方法，引导学生通过观察、实践、思考、讨论等方法获取知识、增长能力，从而充分发挥学生的学习潜能，形成有效的学习策略，让学生成为学习的主人，为其终身学习打下坚实的基础。本文对高中地理教学过程如何培养学生的学习兴趣作了初步探讨。
