    Abstract：

    城市化进程下人地矛盾、用地布局不合理、土地资源短缺等问题亟须解决，城镇建设适宜性评价作为有效缓解手段具有一定必要性。基于GIS空间分析手段，以江苏省苏州市为研究对象，根据土地利用现状、生态保护需求等筛选因子，采用层次分析法确定权重值并建立评价指标体系，构建苏州市建设用地适宜性评价模型。以实际情况为依据对评价结果进行等级划分，希望能为苏州市城镇建设规划等提供参考依据与建议。
