Abstract：
1994年在上映的电影The Professional是一部很有影响力的电影，我们许多中国观众都反复观摩过。这部电影深受中国观众的喜爱与合适的字幕翻译是紧密相关的。本文以变译理论为指导，通过对比原版字幕和汉语字幕，从“ 增、减、编、改”几个方面分析变译理论在字幕翻译中的具体运用，目的是为了提高字幕翻译的质量，促进字幕翻译的发展，进而推动各国文化的传播和交流。
