Abstract：
初中英语基本技能包括听、说、读、写四个方面，其中阅读是学生理解和获取信息的有效途径。但受传统教学的影响，初中英语阅读教学在课堂上都是以教师“讲”为主，学生只是被动地“听”,缺少培养学生核心素养的有效途径，使学生对阅读难以提升兴趣。基于此，本文主要探究初中英语阅读教学的策略。
