Abstract：
随着国家教育制度的改革发展，初中英语教学的方法也随之革新。传统英语教学中使用的“填鸭式”“满堂灌”的教学模式已不能满足学生的学习热情，教学效果并不理想。而自主学习方法是在充分尊重学生主体性教学地位的前提下倡导的一种新型高效教学方法。教师通过巧妙地设置问题，为学生创造学习机会，激发学生学习兴趣，调动学生学习的主观能动性，从而促进初中英语课堂教学效率的有效提高。
