本文主要以巧用阅读教学助推初中英语核心素养为重点进行阐述，首先分析英语阅读教学现状，其次介绍学生阅读兴趣培养的必要性，最后从关注教学艺术体现，调动学生阅读主动性、强调阅读个性成长，形成良好的阅读习惯、纳入合作交流，培养学生思维能力、安排阅读任务，锻炼学生素养技能几个方面深入说明，并探讨巧用阅读教学助推初中英语核心素养思考。
