包装设计作为一种信息传达媒介，与日常生活有着特殊的联系性和不可替代性，对不同材质特征的掌握和应用是包装设计的基础。不同香水包装设计的选材具有的不同意义，通过不同材质所具有的美感及其本身材质语言的特性，在香水包装设计中充分体现香水的韵味和内涵，将香水自身特点与材质美感相结合，通过现代设计手法及现代技术，设计出更加符合香水本身的包装，同时也传达出材质在包装设计中的独特美感。
