    膨润土在废水处理领域作用突出，对膨润土进行改性可以提高废水处理效率。常用的改性方法有活化、负载和交联等。通过对膨润土的改性，可以提升膨润土对有机废水及废水中铬、磷、油等的吸附作用，起到净化水质的效果。
