Abstract：
在初中英语教学过程中，阅读是一个重要环节，能在一定程度上提高学生的阅读能力，帮助学生更好地理解知识内容，是实现学生全面发展的重要途径。目前，部分教师在阅读教学过程中习惯于采用单一的教学方法，无法调动学生的主动性。针对这种情况，教师应在新课程标准的要求下，突出学生的主体地位，改变学生的学习态度，采取多元化手段调动学生的主动性，使学生积极参与英语阅读教学活动，促进英语水平的提高。基于此，本文就初中英语阅读教学中发挥学生的主动性开展探究与分析。
