Abstract：
英语能力通常指阅读理解方面的能力、口语表达方面的能力以及写作方面的能力，其中，阅读能力是其他两大能力的基础及重要前提。所以，英语教师尤其是初中阶段的英语教师必须注重学生英语阅读能力的相关培养，积极探寻培养方法和策略，以此提升其阅读教学水平，进一步提升学生英语学科的综合素养。
