Abstract：
沈从文乡土小说中的湘西世界是世外桃源，它如梦如幻，令许多人神往不已。《萧萧》是沈从文在小说成熟期写下的短篇小说，向我们展现了湘西世界这一幅“美”“丑”交织的民俗风情画卷。本文从《萧萧》着手，寻找其优美湘西民风背后所蕴含的自然、少女、人性之“美”，挖掘平凡人物背后的悲剧，通过比较分析总结出作品背后的理想寄托，围绕“悲剧命运轮回”，引出现代文明之殇的深刻主题。
