    Abstract：

    英语作为一门国际通用语言越来越受到各行各业的重视，因此，英语教学十分重要。就初中英语教学而言，学生的英语阅读能力在一定程度上最直接地反映出其对课堂知识的掌握程度。由此，教师在英语教学中要不断提高对学生阅读能力的培养。新课程改革后，《新课程标准》中更加突出学生的主体地位，突出学生课堂学习的主体性。
