当今世界是开放的世界，这就要求人才的培养要打破学科界限，注重培养学生的综合素质。作为一门兼具自然科学和社会科学性质的学科，地理学的课程性质决定了其必须构建开放的地理课程，教师在教学中也必须注重地理学科与其他学科的融合。
