伴随着网络影响力的扩大，网络对中国社会各个方面都产生了深远的影响。信息高速发展时代的产物——网络德育，是德育发展不可忽视的途径。由于计算机的普及，网络道德教育在发达地区已经司空见惯，而在农村初中，网络道德教育则是一个新课题。
