Abstract：
高等教育自学考试社会助学是个人自学、社会助学和国家考试相结合的高等教育国家考试.历经近四十年的发展,自学考试社会助学在服务考生方面发挥较大作用.但其自身固有缺陷和因满足不了社会需求变化造成的不足仍十分显著.寻求弥补缺陷的途径是促进助学制度变革的根本途径.
