    Abstract：

    在新课教育改革的背景下,对于初中英语课堂提出了新的要求.阅读教学作为初中英语的重头戏,在英语教学中占有很大的比重.阅读理解题在中考乃至高考中占的分值也很大.学生阅读能力的提高在整个英语教学中起着举足轻重的作用,培养学生的阅读能力是我们主要教学内容之一.英语阅读的目的是为了获取文本的信息,概括文本的主旨大意,而打造高效的英语阅读课堂就是用最短的时间获得最佳的课堂效果,对此提出如下建议.
