语文学科是工具性和人文性的统一，这意味着语文不仅要培养学生的智育，而且肩负提高学生德育、美育等的重任。因此，语文教学必须根据语文教学特点和教材特点进行思想道德教育，实现教书与育人的统一，智育与德育的统一。
