    Abstract：

    教材是教与学的重要资源，因此，教材评估研究对高中英语教学具有重要意义。本文基于文献研究，结合新课程标准和我国外语教学的实践，设计一套教材评估标准，并以外研版《英语》（新标准）高中教材第一册为例进行实例分析，为选择更适合学习者的教材提供理论依据和意见。
