Abstract：
阅读教学在初中英语教学中起着至关重要的作用。随着新课程改革的不断推进，传统的英语阅读教学已不能满足学生的发展，在新的教学环境中，教师需要使用新颖的教学理念和方法，纠正传统教学的弊端，让学生能够根据自己的能力去自主阅读，提高学生的英语学习效果，保证初中英语阅读教学的有效性。
