    英语作为一门重要学科，教师在教学时应该采取有效的教学方式，让学生能够通过不断的学习，培养英语学习的能力，提高自己的综合能力，让学生能够将英语作为自己的学习和生活中的一种工具。读后续写是一种以读促学的高效写作教学方式，不仅可以提高学生的写作能力还可以提高学生的综合语用能力，符合高中英语课程标准对人才的培养要求，具有一定的重要意义。
