Abstract：
伴随着年级的升高，学生需要掌握的英语内容越来越多，信息量也随之增大，单纯依靠课堂教学无疑是不够的，学生们获得的知识内容也较为有限，因此要提高学生的自学能力。基于此，笔者在文中对培养学生英语自学能力的意义进行了概述，并对目前高中英语课堂中学生自学能力现状与问题加以剖析，然后就如何培养学生自学能力提出了四点策略。
