Abstract：

从教育教学实践来看，核心素养视角下的初中英语教学需要进行更多的改进和提升，尤其是在英语阅读教学方面，教师需要提升学生的英语阅读速度，还需要帮助其及时掌握语言运用能力和思维能力，保证其从整体上提高自身的能力素养。因此，本文将着重以初中英语核心素养为导向，对初中英语教学现状以及阅读教学策略进行分析。
